In this episode, Dr. Andrea Dayrup breaks it down for us and explains how to diagnose She unpacks the problems she sees in practicing race-based medicine, from delays in health care to ignoring environmental factors that lead to disparate health outcomes. She says that while race-based health disparities are very real, the idea that our bodies are genetically different based on race is anything but.
